hey! I'm Poppi and I am one of the directors of In the Forest:) Since moving to Oakville for school last year, I've walked in the Oakville forest almost every day. It is a place I really cherish and it has helped me through many hard times and many good ones. It is one of the most meaningful places in Oakville to me and one of the places me and the other director Harlow first became friends. We can't wait to share our stories as well as the stories of 4 wonderful people and how their lives have been changed because of the forest🌿

Hi im Harlow Im one of the Directors and co-editors for In The Forest:) The oakville forest has been a huge part of growing up for me over the years. i spent my time being in the woods when i felt lost or upset, and when i was looking for comfort. the forest helped me meet lovely friends and i am so fortunate to have found other people that feel similar- like Poppi my other Director and co-editor on this project.

Carla Aicken is excited to be the producer for "In the Forest". Her love of nature and poetic expression is something that drew her to the beautiful vision of the directors as well as the incredible crew. “I couldn't have asked to be apart of something more lovely and honest. I'm Evan and I'm so excited to be the Director of Photography on Forest! Nature has always been an important part of my life. Growing up in rural Ontario and spending my childhood playing in local forests and conservation areas has given me a deep appreciation for our urban green spaces. Everyone on the team has worked really hard to capture this beauty and appreciation from all our subjects. I hope you all enjoy the doc!

Hello everyone! My name is Matt. I am the location sound recorder for In The Forest Documentary!  Working on this project has helped remind me of a place that I can use as an escape. Being out and taking in every sound that surrounds me has been a meditation. I feel this process has brought me closer to the art that we’re making, the crew members, also closer to the forest itself. I’m so excited to see the result of all the amazing work by our crew. hiii my names Bella and I'm the 1st AC on this doc! the forest and nature itself is very much a healing thing for me. when I need to get away from things I usually take a walk through a trail or a forest, listen to music and it always helps clear my mind from life in general. that is why I'm so excited to be part of this production! :)
